Spring Wishing 2017

It is hard to believe it is my third time crafting seasonal wishing. No matter how much I try to like colder months of the year, I have no intentions of hiding my love for spring and summer. And so it comes, spring wishing!

TASTE IT – green juice
I am kind of cheating with this one, as I have in fact tried green juice before. However, I had it once or twice maybe and I would love to discover more combinations in flavors. Green juices are full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. And since the weather in Spring can be rather unpredictable at times, all of it can come in handy when trying to keep your immunity system stron.

EXPERIENCE IT
 – camping

I do not remember when was the last time I went camping. Tents, bonfire, night skies, wilderness and layers of clothing – all of this sounds like a distant dream now, but with promises of early spring, I hope to not have to wait long. Once the nights are warmer, I have a couple of destinations in my mind I would like to explore with a group of friends.

READ IT – The Tidal Zone
I have heard nothing but good words about The Tidal Zone by Sarah Moss. I know little to nothing about the plot, which is great, I prefer discovery the story line myself.  And what can be better than starting a new season with a good book? (Fingers crossed that the build up of expectations will not leave me disappointed.)

WEAR IT – light colors
I am one of those people who tend to dress in dark colors all year round. Apart from few white tees and light summer dresses, the rest of my closet is filled with backs, grays, dark blues, burgundies and deep greens. But as warmer seasons are approaching I feel like bringing more color in my life. A pair of light blue jeans, a white tee and camel trench coat is probably something I could see myself wearing once the sun loses its shyness. Baby steps, baby steps.

TRY IT – scrapbooking
Before I moved to Riga I had a major declutter both in my apartment in Vilnius and back at parents home. I found a couple of notebooks that I have completely forgotten about filled with notes and photo cutouts. I must admit it was kind of cringy yet interesting to look back at myself and see what seemed important or interesting for me. That was what made me think of scrapbooking again.
